Stoneware, raised-relief and transfer decoration. The bookshelf motif of soft muted books serves as the framework for a pewter medallion. On the medallion is a cadeusus with microscope, stethoscope, syringe, test tubes and charts in the background. On top of the baroque pewter lid is a pewter owl figurine. The lid of the stein is polished and suitable for engraving.
